Abstract
The article examines the main approaches to the meaning 'traditional culture', shows the peculiarities of the development of the traditional cultures of the main ethnicities of the Ukrainian Danube region: Ukrainians, Russians, Moldovans, Bulgarians, and others, shows follows the interaction of the cultures.
